We were delighted to have been working with Jeff and the rest of the Coventry Comic Con team at this year’s CovCon, which was held at the Sports Connexion in Ryton. It was the show’s second year and it had more than doubled in floor area since this year it filled both halls. This meant that we could put up three separate studios – the celebrity meet and greet, the Iron Throne and a green screen one too.
This year’s show also boasted a stage which played host to the QA’s, various dance routines and the Cosplay Pagent.
There was also a fair amount to see outside the halls, with a huge array of vehicular movie stars on show to wow the crowds.
One of the major attractions for this sort of event is the line up of stars from film and TV and once again, Coventry Comic Con delivered by bringing in celebrities from all over the world. It was a real pleasure to meet the actors and work with them in the meet and greet studio. It was clear to see the impact that meeting the actors had on their fans.
We helped Coventry ComicCon with more than just providing the photo studios – we also helped by printing the tokens that could be bought by the attendees and exchanged for photos in the studios. We custom designed these and printed them on ID card blanks. Jeff was absolutely delighted when he saw them.
During the course of the day, we also managed to shoot a little video to help promote the convention. This exemplifies how we work with our clients and hopefully exceed their expectations.
